Adding a Remote IO
If a Remote IO is connected to the main S1000 Controller on the isolated-isolated port, the Remote IO can function as a parent device. Card Reader Interface Boards, Keypads and OSDP Readers can be added to the Remote IO parent device on the non-isolated port and can be configured so that the Remote IO is selected as the parent device.
Up to 8 readers (Wiegand or OSDP readers) and keypads can be added to the Remote IO.
