Access Control Modes
You can configure an area to require a minimum of 2 users who must be present within the area at any given time. The first person to enter the area after a valid entry is prompted for the next dual user, so that 2 people will be marked in the new dual user area. Any subsequent users can enter, and any user can leave as long as there is at least 2 people present within the area. When the last 2 people leave, they will both be prompted for exit in order to leave the area.
- Create a new area and select Dual User as the Dual User Mode.
This is similar to dual user area mode. The difference being that one of the users present in the area must be a supervisor.
- Create a new area and select Supervised User as the Dual User Mode.
For time attendance an IN and an OUT reader are used to validate that a user has entered and exited an area. If the door category is assigned as IN/OUT, then keypad readers display the entry or exit message as well as a feedback message to the user as they are entering or exiting the area.
- Create a new door and select Entry/Exit as the Category.
