Adding a Site

When an S1000 Controller is added to your system, a new site must be created in Sonitrol CORE.

  1. Make sure the S1000 Controller is correctly configured.
  2. Define a profile for the site.
  3. Click Hardware on the left navigation pane.
  4. Click Sites on the top navigation bar.

    The Sites page displays listing all the sites for all the organizations in your system.

  5. Click Add Site.
  6. Complete the details for the new site.

    Field

    Description

    Name

    Enter a unique name for the site.

    Up to 255 characters can be entered.

    Description

    Enter more details about the site.

    Address

    Enter the physical address or location of the site.

    or

    Use the Google map to Set Location.

    Timezone

    Select a time zone for the site from the drop-down list.

    Organization

    The default organization is Global.

    If you wish to choose a different organization for this site, click x at the end of the field, then enter your search criteria to find and select a different organization.

    Calendar

    Select a calendar from the drop-down list to use for this site.

    Demo Site

    Turn on the toggle if this site will be used only for demo purposes. This option is available only for cloud instance of Sonitrol CORE Platform.

    The demo site is not considered as a subscription.

    Profile

    Other fields may become available depending on the selected profile.

    Profile Name

    Select a profile for the site from the drop-down list. This will define the configuration of the site.

    Serial Number

    Once a profile is selected, you can enter the S1000 Controller's serial number.

  7. Click Create.
