Alarm Area Modes
In alarm area mode, normal user access to enter and exit areas is based on the user's role settings. This only applies to areas configured for Limit Area and only allows disarm or partial disarm when it is enabled. Arming this area only requires a single user.
Setting up for dual alarm area
In this mode, a keypad is set for single area log in and the area is configured for dual users. The keypad prompts for 2 valid users (user ID / PIN) to allow disarming of the single area (which may be disarm or partial). Any user is able to arm the area; dual is not required.
- Create a new area and select Dual User as the Dual User Mode.
- Create a new keypad and turn on the Limit Area toggle.
Setting up for dual supervised alarm area
This is the same as dual alarm area mode, except that at least one of the users must be a supervisor.
- Create a new area and select Supervised User as the Dual User Mode.
- Create a new keypad and turn on the Limit Area toggle.
