Creating a Site Profile

You can manage a large number of similar site that share the same configuration, same firmware, same macros and alarm reporting rules, by creating a template or profile.

1. From the left navigation pane,. click Hardware.

2. From the top navigation bar, click Profiles.

   The Hardware Profiles page displays.

3. Click Add Profile.

   The Add Profile page displays.

4. Enter a unique Profile Name.

   Enter up to 255 characters.

5. Enter more details about the profile in the Description field.
6. Select the Organization for the profile. To choose a different organization, remove the current selection and search for another organization.
7. Select a Color to associate with the profile.

8. In the General Profile Configuration section, select a default profile template from the drop-down list.

   The Add Profile page displays the configuration, devices, etc of the selected default profile template.

   Available default profile templates:

   • S1000 Template - configure a S1000 Controller which enables you to remotely manage access control and alarms as well as building management functions.
   • Contact ID Template - configure a third party alarm management system.

9. Make changes as needed to the default profile template for this new site profile.

   • The Configurations tab lets you manage the devices installed for this profile.
   • The Services tab lets you manage the internal and third party services for this profile.
   • The Rules tab lets you manage the rules that can automate the different processes in your system.
   • The Widgets tab lets you manage the widgets that display on the Dashboard.

   Toggle OFF or ON Show Tags to display searchable meta tags on the device panels.

10. Click Create.
