Setting up the Ethernet Port

You can select the set up the static or dynamic IP Ethernet port connected to the S1000 Controller.

Note: An Ethernet or cellular configuration is required to connect the S1000 Controller to the Sonitrol CORE.
  1. Access the Setup Menu.

  2. Use the 2 key and 8 key to go to the Local Ethernet Port option.

  3. Press .

    The first option is the Enable DHCP.

  4. Press .

  5. Use the 4 key to select Yes.
  6. Press .

  7. Enter the DNS Server IP Address, provided by the network administrator, using the alphanumeric keys.

  8. Press .
  1. Access the Setup Menu.

  2. Use the 2 key and 8 key to go to the Local Ethernet Port option.

  3. Press .

    The first option is the Enable DHCP.

  4. Press .

  5. Use the 6 key to select No.

  6. Press .

  7. Enter the S1000 IP Address, provided by the network administrator, using the alphanumeric keys.

  8. Press .

  9. Enter the S1000 Subnet Mask using the alphanumeric keys.

  10. Press .

  11. Enter the Gateway IP Address using the alphanumeric keys.

  12. Press .

  13. Enter the DNS Server IP Address using the alphanumeric keys.

  14. Press .
