Test Mode
The Alarm Keypad can be placed into test mode to diagnose any system inputs and outputs.
- Log in.

Use the keypad arrow keys to select the Enter Test Mode option.

Enter the test mode Duration in minutes, using the alphanumeric keys.
The test mode duration is active even when logged out.

Select the areas to place in test mode.
Use the keypad arrow keys to choose All test areas or Choose to select specific areas to test.
Go through the list of available areas using keypad arrow keys.

Select a command option.
Available options:

Add
Include the area for multiple selections.
Next
Toggle to the next area.
Rem
Remove the area from the selection.
Test
Test the selected area.

Exit Test Mode
Manually exit test mode.
Extend Test Mode
Set the test mode Duration to 20 minutes. The previous duration is discarded and it is not cumulative.
Test Inputs
Test any of the inputs that belong to the selected areas.
Test Outputs
Test all outputs that either report in the selected areas or report in all areas.

.Tip: The Alarm Keypad beeps every 10 seconds when there is 2 minutes before the Test Mode Duration is to end.
- Select Test Inputs as the test mode option.

Select an available test mode command.

View All
View / browse all tested and untested inputs that are part of the selected area.
View Tested
View / browse all tested inputs that are part of the selected area.
View Untested
View / browse all untested inputs that are part of the selected area.
Select any command lets you browse all the available inputs.
You can go to the selected area(s) and manually test all the normal inputs.
Inputs configured with Self-Test in the Sonitrol CORE activates the assigned output for 5 seconds. The inputs then change to the Sealed state if it is functioning correctly. See the Sonitrol CORE User Guide for more information.

After all inputs are tested, select the View Tested command to check the results.
Repeat the testing process and view as many times as needed.
All input activations during test mode are recorded as Test Events.
Note: While in test mode, the Alarm Keypad can report a maximum of 10 state changes per input. For further testing, exit and then re-enter test mode. -
Manually exit test mode or let the duration timer expire.
The Alarm Keypad returns to normal operations.
- Select Test Outputs as the test mode option.
- User the keypad arrow keys to select the output to test.

to activate / deactivate the selected output.Tip: When testing outputs, no outputs that are configured for Roles operation other than for outputs that follow inputs are included for testing.The Alarm Keypad displays the number of activations.
All output activations during test mode are recorded as Normal Active / Inactive.

All input activations in this mode are recorded as Test Events.

The Alarm Keypad returns to normal operations.
