Enrolling PowerG Devices

After a PowerG device is added to Sonitrol CORE, you must enroll the device into the system.

Prerequisites

• The PowerG device must be added to the Platform.

• The Site Profile must be downloaded to the controller.

• The device must be powered on.

• The 7-digit device ID number found on the back of the device in the format XXX-XXXX.

• Physical access to the device.

Procedure

1. From the left navigation pane, click Hardware.

2. From the top navigation bar, click Sites.

   The Sites page lists all the sites for all the organizations in your system.

3. Select the site to which you want to enroll the device.

4. Click Site Details on the action bar and click Details tab.

5. Scroll down to view the PowerG devices added to the Platform.

6. Click Edit on the action bar.

7. Click on the device tile and click Configure. Specify the following details. Pre-enrolled devices have a status color of gray on the tile.

   Field	Description
   Parent	Click + to find and select the PowerG Host.
   Product Model	Click + to find and select the PowerG device that you want to enroll.
   Sticker	Enter the device ID from the sticker on the back of the device.

8. Depending on the PowerG device, start the enrollment process from the device by pressing an internal button, removing the battery or by holding down the button for few seconds. For more information about the enrollment method for each supported device, see PowerG devices enrollment methods.

   Release the enrollment button when the LED on the device turns amber.

The status color on the device tile turns amber during the enrollment. After the device is successfully enrolled, the status color changes to green. The Wireless Device Settings section is auto filled with the device registration details after it is successfully enrolled.
