PowerG Devices

Sonitrol CORE and S1000 Controller support the integration of PowerG HSM2HOST9-SL transceiver.

PowerG technology is optimized specifically for the monitoring and control of battery-operated devices for security and safety applications. The PowerG host communicates with the S1000 Controller over RS485 connection using OSDP protocol.

The S1000 currently supports only one PowerG transceiver. The transceiver can enroll a maximum of 128 PowerG devices to the S1000. The PowerG device has a fixed OSDP device ID of 16, and can be connected to either the PL4-PL5 or PL5-PL6 RS485 bus of the S1000 with the default values provided in the section Adding a PowerG Host to the S1000.
