Adding a PowerG Host to the S1000

There are a few steps to add PowerG Host to the Sonitrol CORE.

1. Log on to the Sonitrol CORE.
2. From the left navigation pane, click Hardware.

3. From the top navigation bar, click Profiles.

4. In the Hardware Profiles page, find and select the site profile to which you wish to add a device.

5. Click Edit on the profile tile. You can also click and select Edit from the list.

6. In the Edit Profile page, click the Configurations tab.

7. In the S1000 section, select the specific S1000 and click configure on the tile.
8. Click the Serial tab.

9. Depending on the port where the PowerG host is connected on the S1000, configure either the PL4-PL5 section or the PL5-PL6 section with the following default values:

   Field	Description
   Protocol Type	Select OSDP from the drop-down list.
   Baud Rate	Select 38400 from the drop-down list.
   Parity	Select None from the drop-down list.
   Stop Bits	Select One from the drop-down list.

10. Click Reset.
