Configuration in Sonitrol CORE

There are a number of steps to add Aperio devices to Sonitrol CORE:

  1. Adding an Aperio Device to the S1000
  2. Adding an Aperio Device to Sonitrol CORE
  3. Add a reader.

    1. For the Physical ID on Device, enter 1.
    2. Select the Device to be the configured Aperio device.
  4. Add an Aperio input.

The Physical ID on Device depends on the number of inputs present.

For an AU100 door sensor, the physical ID is 1.

For AU100, E100, L100 or KS100 handle sensors, the physical ID is 2.

  5. Add an Aperio output.

    1. Enter the Physical ID on Device to be 1.

"Configuring an Aperio Output" on page 1

  6. Add an Aperio door.

For the operation of Handle as Egress on an AU100, configure sensors 1 and 2 and the door contact and egress button, respectively. This allows the handle to act as the egress and avoid unwanted forced door events. The door can still generate door ajar messages.

The door contact can be mapped as an intruder input. For EN 50131 compliance, this will only be at the Grade 2 level.

Tip: The AH-30 Hub does not need to be added to the Sonitrol CORE.
Note: If the AH-30 Hub fails or loses connection, then all paired devices are reported offline.
