Adding an Aperio Device to the S1000

1. Log on to Sonitrol CORE.
2. From the left navigation pane, click Hardware.

3. From the top navigation bar, click Profiles.

4. In the Hardware Profiles page, find and select the site profile to which you wish to add a device.

5. Click Edit on the profile tile. You can also click and select Edit from the list.

6. In the Edit Profile page, click the Configurations tab.

7. In the S1000 section, select the specific S1000 Controller then click configure on the tile.
8. Click the Serial tab.

9. Make sure that you select the correct port where the AH-30 Hub is connected.

   • Onboard isolated - the AH-30 Hub is using the PL4-PL5 connection on the S1000.
   • Onboard non-isolated - the AH-30 Hub is using the PL5-PL6 connection on the S1000.

10. Make changes to the following fields:

    Field	Description
    Protocol Type	Select AADP from the drop-down list.
    Baud Rate	Select 19200 from the drop-down list.
    Parity	Select None from the drop-down list.
    Stop Bits	Select One from the drop-down list.

11. Click Reset.
