Modes of Operation
You can choose between 2 modes of operation for the Alarm Keypad:
Access control is the basic mode that only allows you to enter and exit doors. No other configuration options are available for this mode.
The Alarm Keypad is in access control mode based on the following settings:
- user with a valid Access Role
- user with a valid Schedule Access
- access device type is set to Generic OSDP Reader.
Alarm operations is the advanced mode that allow you to set alarm options. You can arm, disarm, inhibit alarm and enter test mode.
The Alarm Keypad is in alarm operations mode based on the following settings:
- user with a valid Access Role
- user with a valid Schedule Access
- user with an assigned Area Permission
- user with an Access Level 2 or higher
- access device type is set to Keypad.
