Adding a SIP Setting Service

  1. From the left navigation pane, click System.
  2. From the top navigation bar, click Services. You can also click Features on the top navigation bar and click Services in the System Menu section.

    All the current available services are listed on the External Services page.

  3. Click Add Service.
  4. Complete the details.

    Field

    Description

    Service Type

    Select SIP Settings from the drop-down list.

    Name

    Enter a unique name for this service.

    Description

    Enter more details about the service.

    Organization

    The default organization is Global.

    To choose a different organization, click x to remove the default, then find and select a different organization.

    SIP Server Details

    Domain

    Enter the domain address for the external SIP Server.

    Username (phone number)

    Enter the telephone number for the external SIP Server.

    This is the target for dialing the SIP Call Center service from the user's IP phone.

    Password

    Enter the password to access the external SIP Server.

    Login

    Enter the login to access the external SIP Server.

    Expiry

    Enter the callback period for registration on the external SIP Server.

    The default is 120 seconds.

    The maximum expiry time is 7200 seconds.

    Target

    Select the target from the drop-down list to be either the S1000 or Operator.

    Other Settings

    PIN

    This is an optional credential to be used before connecting to audio.

    For example, you may have a maximum of 3 attempts to voice the correct PIN before the service is disconnected.

    Language

    Select a language from the drop-down list to be used for call center voice prompts.

  5. Click Create.
