Adding VIGIL Appliance to a Site
You can add the VIGIL Appliance to the site either using VIGIL Connect or the VIGIL Appliance IP address.
Before you begin

You must have added a VIGIL Appliance camera to the site profile.

You must have either the VIGIL Appliance IP address and port number or the VIGIL Appliance alias or serial number.

You must have VIGIL Appliance credentials.

You must have Sonitrol CORE credentials of a user with video access permissions.
Procedure
- From the left navigation pane, click Hardware.

From the top navigation bar, click Sites.
The Sites page lists all the sites for all the organizations in your system.
- Find and select the site you wish to add the VIGIL Appliance.

Click Edit on the site tile.
- In the Site Information page, click Edit on the action bar.
- In the VIGIL Appliance section of the Details tab, click +Add.
- In the Add VIGIL Appliance page, pull the toggle to either IP Address and Port or Using Vigil Connect.
- Enter a suitable description for the VIGIL Appliance.
- If you chose IP Address, enter the IP address and HTTP Port number of the VIGIL Appliance configured in Vigil Connect.
- If you chose to connect using Vigil Connect, enter the alias or serial number of the VIGIL Appliance.
- Enter the Username and Password of the VIGIL Appliance.
- Click Test Connection and verify if you can connect to the VIGIL Appliance.
- Enter the Username and Password of a Sonitrol CORE user with video access permissions.
- Click Verify Credentials to ensure that the camera can access VIGIL Appliance Gateway.
- Click Save.
- Click
on the camera tile and click CONFIGURE. - In the Configure Vigil Appliance Camera dialog, select the VIGIL Appliance added in previous steps.
- Select a camera from the list or search for a specific camera.
- Click Save.
After the camera is successfully added to Sonitrol CORE, the camera feed can be seen on the tile. You can now add the VIGIL Appliance camera widget to your Dashboard to view the live feed.
