Setting up Event Notifications

In order to receive event notifications from the AXIS Cameras:

1. Add a virtual input to Sonitrol CORE.

   1. Select the Category to be Normal.
   2. Enter a Tag that exactly matches the TAG variable on the AXIS message field.

2. Set up event notifications in the AXIS Camera App.

How to set up event notifications the AXIS Camera App

1. Go to the AXIS Camera configuration URL.
2. Click the Apps tab.

3. Click the AXIS Video Motion Detection option.

   

4. Click the System tab.

5. Click the Events option.

   

6. Create or change a Rules Profile.

   Select the Video Motion profile created from the Motion App.

   

7. Select the Action to be Send Notification through TCP from the drop-down list.

   

8. Enter the message to be sent.

   This will map to the S1000 virtual event.

   The format to the text is S1000 [TAG], [TIME].

   Activate input with matching [TAG] for [TIME] seconds.

9. Click Save.
