Creating a Credential Profile

It is possible to have multiple properties on a single credential. It is the properties of a credential that allow the profile to be recognized.

1. Click System on the left navigation pane.
2. Click Features on the top navigation bar.

3. In the User Menu section, click Credential Profiles.

4. In the Credential Profiles page, click Add Credential.

5. On the Create Credential Profile page, complete the details.

   Field	Description
   Name	Enter a unique and descriptive name for the credential.
   Description	Enter more information about the credential.
   Type	Click + at the end of the Type field to find and select the credential type. Click Select on the credential type tile.
   Card bit	Enter the card bit length. This is displayed only if it applies to the selected credential Type. After a card bit length is entered, extra fields are available to format the card bits. Format the card bits in the Bit format section. Click each graphic bit to select the format based on the displayed Legend. The Summary section displays the choices you have made for the card bits.
   Properties	Select the appropriate values for the credential profile properties.
   Custom Properties	Turn on the Custom Properties toggle to enter values for the custom properties defined for the form.
   Summary	Assign details into bits for the card property details.

6. Click Create.

7. View the credential profile.

   1. Go back to the Credential Profiles page.
   2. Find the credential profile.

   3. Click the credential tile to open the View Credential Profile page.

8. Click Publish.

   You can now assign this credential profile to a user.
