Alarm Management Capabilities
An operator role can manage alarms for multiple organizations
Alarm Management Organizations
Specify one or more organizations that this operator role can view and manage.
Tip: Selecting a parent organization does not include child organizations. Select each child organization individually. If l left empty, the operator can access alarms from all organizations and sites they have access to based on their role, unless other permissions limit access. For new roles or upgrades, this field is empty by default.
Alarm Priority Range
Specify the minimum and maximum alarm priority levels that this operator can view and manage on the Alarms page.
Tip: Use this setting to limit an operator’s view to specific alarm priorities, such as only high-priority alarms or only lower-priority events, regardless of the alarm type. This is especially useful for tier-based response teams.View Credential PIN
Turn on this toggle to enable operators with this role to view PIN on the User page. If turned on, operators with this role can view the PIN of all users within their organization. By default, this option is turned OFF.
Command Permissions
You can configure permissions for executing various commands or actions for each of the objects listed. Select the check box at the object level to grant permission to execute all the actions for the object. Else, you can allow the necessary actions for each object.
For example, an operator without Activate permission for output will be restricted from activating any output across the Platform. This includes initiating an output activation from the Dashboard, Maps, and Widgets.
Alternatively, you can use the All on or All off buttons to grant all permissions or revoke all permissions for all the listed objects.
Menu Visibility
This permission controls whether an operator can see a specific menu item or screen. If a menu is set to OFF for a role, the operator cannot open or view that screen, even if their role includes full access to the underlying features.
Tip: For new operator roles and system upgrades, all menu visibility options are set to ON by default. This ensures backward compatibility and prevents operators from losing access to familiar screens after an upgrade. Can Use Mobile App
