Creating a New Foreign Operator Role
Foreign Operator roles are roles that can be shared with external organizations (accepting organizations) to perform certain specific tasks. This role cannot be assigned to operators that belong to the same organization as the role itself. Users can be assigned permissions to manage users, sites and/or system configurations. You can also assign command permissions for individual objects such as door, area, input, and output.
-
Only operators with the Foreign Operator Role management permission can create this role.
-
You must know the correct name of the foreign organization with which you intend to share this role.
- Full Access - can create, edit or delete data.
- Action - can view data and do a task or make minor changes.
- Read Only - can only view data.
