Connecting the HikVision Face Reader

  1. Power on the HikVision Face Reader.

  2. Set the default administrator password.

  3. Tap Activate.

  4. Tap the Comm option on the menu.

  5. Enter a unique IP address.

  6. Set a static IP address on the router with the same IP address as the device.

    Tip: Reserve this IP address if using a router.
