Creating a New Marker Template

Marker templates can only be created by users with the appropriate role permissions.

1. Click Dashboard on the left navigation pane.
2. Click on the top navigation bar.
3. Click Marker Templates.

4. Click Add Marker.

5. In the Configuration dialog box, enter a unique and descriptive Marker Name for the template.
6. Choose a Selectors from the drop-down list.

7. Select the Entries from the drop-down list.

   This can be either a Point or a Polygon.

8. If the Entries is a Point, select the Shape from the drop-down list.

   Available shapes are circle, hexagon, square or triangle.

9. Toggle OFF or ON to Disable status panel.

10. Complete the details for the marker Conditions.

    1. Click .

    2. Double-click a displayed Recommended Icon to add it to your selected shape in the Marker Preview section.

       You can also use your own custom icon, by clicking Upload Icon to find and select an icon on your computer.

    3. Select the Size and Color of the marker.
    4. To add Condition Details, click +Add Condition to include the condition parameter and its value from the drop-down lists.
    5. Continue to add condition details as needed.

    6. Click either the All or Any option to be applied to the condition details.

       That is, either all condition details must be valid or any of the condition details can be valid.

11. Select an appropriate marker Action from the drop-down list.

    An action may not be available or appropriate for some selectors.

12. Click Create.
