Customizing Your Dashboard
A default dashboard is available when you first log on to Sonitrol CORE. You can customize it to suit your business needs.
Other dashboards can be created from the default, to serve different purposes.

Click Dashboard on the left navigation pane.
The default main dashboard (that has been pinned) displays.

To customize any other dashboard:
- Click
on the top navigation bar. - Click the appropriate tab for the dashboard type - alarms, roles or sites.
- Find and select the dashboard you wish to customize.

Click Edit on the action bar for the main dashboard.
or
Click
on the dashboard tile title bar for other dashboards. - Change the Name of the dashboard.
- To change the Organization, click x to delete the current selection, then find and select another organization.

Add a Display Filter.
The default display filter for a role is Any.
- Click Add Filter.
- On the Roles dialog box, find a role that you wish to use as a filter.
- Click Select on the role tile.
- Click Done.

Click +Add new row to add a new section to the dashboard.
On the Add new row dialog box, select the number of columns to be included in the new section. The new section can be divided into a maximum of 6 columns.
To delete a row or section, click x in the top left-hand corner.

Reposition a row or section on the dashboard, as needed.

Place your mouse over
in the top left-hand corner of the section.Your cursor changes into a hand.

Drag-and-drop the row or section to a new location on the dashboard.
Tip: Collapse all rows or sections, to make it easier to reorganize sections.

- Add, move, or remove widgets, as needed, into the dashboard sections.
- Click Update.
