Diagnostic Logs
A raw data log can be extracted from the S1000 Controller using PuTTY.
A pre-configured file is available from Sonitrol Support.
- Connect the S1000 Controller to the computer using the Service Adaptor.
- Run the PuTTY executable file.

Complete the details for the PuTTY settings.

Implicit CR in every LF
Tick the checkbox.
Implicit LF in every CR
Tick the checkbox.

Click Open.
The PuTTY terminal displays the S1000 Controller's log information.
The log information is also saved to the
putty.logfile.
It is recommended that events logs are obtained using Sonitrol CORE or the Sonitrol CORE App. The following should only be done if absolutely necessary.
- Push the Switch S5: Enclosure Lid Tamper sensor on the S1000 Controller while running PuTTY to display the events log.
