Installation and Setup

The installation procedures for the S1000 Controller consists of:

  1. Mounting the S1000 in an enclosure.

  2. Mounting the Power supply and tamper switch into enclosure.

  3. Connecting tamper and battery leads to their corresponding connectors on the S1000.

  4. Mounting and connecting the required expansion cards, peripheral devices and Ethernet connection.

  5. Connecting power supply to the S1000 and battery leads to the battery terminals. Then connect the power supply unit to the Mains supply.

  6. Connecting S1000 to Sonitrol CORE using the Setup App.

  7. Configuring the S1000 in Sonitrol CORE (Profile, Site, and so on).
