Viewing Closed Alarms

Sonitrol CORE maintains a log of the recent alarm events that have occurred. If you have added the Vigil Appliance or the Vigil Cloud widget to the Alarms dashboard, you can view the video of the area at the time the alarm occurred.

To view the historical alarms:

1. Click Alarms on the left navigation pane.

2. Click Closed on the top navigation pane.

3. Select the Start date and time and End date and time to view alarms for a particular period.

4. Click Sites on the top bar to filter alarms by site.

5. Click Alarm Kinds on the top bar to filter alarms by the type of alarm.

6. Click the alarm card to view the alarm dashboard.

7. In the list of events, click to playback the video based on the alarm time. The playback button is available only if the video widget is added to the alarms dashboard.

   The default playback shows 30 seconds before and 1 minute after the alarm time. If you do not pause or adjust the slider, the video stops at the alarm time. You can change the start and end times as required.
