Installing Sonitrol CORE Web
Different installation options exist for Sonitrol CORE Web:

A stable internet connection is required when installing the online version.

No matter which installation type is selected, the initial setup must be always be done first.
Different installation options exist for Sonitrol CORE Web depending on your security business needs:

Used mainly for demonstration servers. The basic installation includes a PostgreSQL database container to use as the database provider and creates a self-signed SSL certificate. It uses default settings with the option to choose the integrations needed. |

Used mainly for production servers. The advanced installation allows you to select the database provider (MSSQL or PostgreSQL) and to upload a SSL certificate / key or generate one. Note: MySQL is not supported for new installations. However, you can upgrade existing installations.
It allows you to create a custom domain and include custom branding on the Sonitrol CORE login screen. |

Used mainly when installing gateways to connect to a pre-existing Sonitrol CORE Server. The connection is required to access video or other devices on a different network to the Sonitrol CORE Server. |

Used to set up multi-node Docker swarms for high availability. At least 3 servers must be running Docker in order to use the capabilities of the multi-node set up. Most of the advanced installation type features are also included for the multi-server installation, except for being able to set up a containerized MSSQL database server. Note: MySQL is not supported for new installations. However, you can upgrade existing installations.
This should not be used for servers running Windows, as connecting servers using Docker swarms do not function as expected. |
